Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed a scenic cruise on Windermere Lake and explored the fascinating Windermere Jetty Museum. The hospitality was top-notch with warm welcomes, and the rooms were incredibly clean. Don't forget to try the delicious breakfast. it's a highlight of the stay!

Only downside was the slight noise from other guests during the night, which disturbed our sleep a bit.

storrs gate is a hidden gem! the hosts, glenn and susann, are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. the standard king room was spotless and beautifully furnished. breakfast was top-notch, featuring fresh, local ingredients. the location is perfect, just steps away from a beautiful marina, allowing easy access to explore the area.

Perfect getaway in the Lakes!

Just enjoyed a lovely 3-night stay in the Victorian suite. Glen and Susan were super helpful with local tips, and the breakfast was delish! Only thing is, breakfast times felt a bit rushy, but it’s understandable for a small place. Short walk to Windermere was a plus, and the gardens are gorgeous.

The hosts greeted us warmly, making us feel at home immediately. The breakfast served was delightful, offering a range of first-class options to start the day.

The room, while clean, could benefit from additional attention to minor maintenance issues.

I had a great time exploring the area. I was in a room with a four-poster bed and a separate area with comfortable chairs. It was nice to unwind with a film after a long day of exploring. Breakfast had a great variety, and the food was properly prepared. The lake and ferry were a short walk away, along with a nice town with many bars and restaurants. I look forward to going back soon.
